Thanksgiving

grace3Why should we give thanks to God? Why should we come to him with our praises,? In the scriptures, there were priests from the tribe of Levi who were chosen to offer up prayers of thanksgiving. We are a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). We are all to offer up prayers of thanksgiving. Below are some scriptures rich with the meaning of giving thanks to God.

What first comes to mind when you hear the word “repent?” It probably depends on your background doesn’t it? You might hear it with a heavy southern drawl being angrily yelled. Or…you might hear a street preacher with a bullhorn. Or maybe you don’t have any of that baggage and you haven’t heard the word much at all. It is a bit out of vogue after all…
