Generational Legacy - Oak Of Righteousness Isaiah 61:3 by Sylvia Gunter

SylviaHear God's Word in Isaiah 61:3. "They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."

God is making you His planting for the display of Himself. He wants you to be a showcase of His beauty and character and to give evidence of His glory. As St. Francis of Assisi said, "Preach Jesus, and if necessary, use words."

You live the life of the Righteous One in you and bear the fruit of His righteousness. Be blessed as you give life in the same way that in every acorn is an oak. Oak trees have a generational legacy. God made them to live generationally by reproducing. This is your finest fulfillment, a legacy of righteousness that outlasts your life.

God has placed you in the refreshing stream of Living Water flowing from His throne. Jeremiah 17:7-8 says that you are blessed when you trust Him and have confidence in Him. Then you are like a tree planted by the water that sinks its roots deep by the stream. You do not fear when heat comes; your leaves do not wither. They are always green. You have no worries in a year of drought, and you never fail to bear fruit. Let your roots tap deeply into your Source. Be refreshed each moment in Jesus who is eternally with you and in you and you in Him. You display His keeping power, as He watches over you and keeps you flourishing in hard times to pass on your legacy of life.

John 15 says that God has chosen you for fruitful seed-planting for fruit that remains. Be blessed as you are faithful to plant in fertile soil and let God multiply. The oak does not strive to produce acorns. It stands and does its "oak thing," and God provides the increase from the essence of the oak. You will reproduce who you are, regardless of who you are. Live the "Jesus life," and He will provide the increase from His life in you. As you are about your Father's business, He blesses you with the reward of generational fruitfulness for His name's sake (Proverbs 11:18).

Isaiah 32:17 says, "The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever." Be blessed to display the fruit of God's peace, quietness, and confidence. Be blessed with a harvest of righteousness as you sow in peace (James 3:18).

Be blessed in the name of Jehovah-Tsidkenu, the Lord your righteousness
(Jeremiah 23:6).
