What does it mean to be holy? Holiness is about God, not us. It is about nurturing a relationship with him, while also showing the world who he is through our lives. Holiness, as Peter seems to indicate, is rooted in being transformed by Christ's love, and experiencing an overflowing of that love into everyone around us.

Editor's Note: This year I've been thinking about evangelism and try to grow as an evangelist. I'm no great evangelist, so I appreciate those who are more faithful and effective than I am. Leon Brown is one such brother. He's written a new book on evangelism entitled Words in Season.
Beloved child of God, listen to your Father's heart and his ways for you in Galatians 5:22-23,25. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control... Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit."
Recently, our church's spiritual life website posted a blog on 12 myths of Arminianism. It was a helpful and instructive post on what the author, C. Michael Patton, believes traditional or classic Arminianism really holds to be true versus caricatures that have been made about Arminianism.
This week modern worship received some attention from an expansive platform. NPR (National Public Radio) produced a piece on modern worship music and its influence in the church.
