SylviaListen to the Word of God in Judges. "Gideon built an altar to the LORD there and called it The LORD is Peace. To this day it stands..." God said to Gideon, "I am with you, mighty warrior... Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian's hand... Am I not sending you?... I will be with you... Peace, do not be afraid" (Judges 6:11-22).

At God's command Gideon gave the 300 men a trumpet and a lamp with a torch inside. At their shout, God gave the Midianites into Gideon's hands. They routed their enemies and saved the nation. During Gideon's lifetime, the land enjoyed peace for forty years (Judges 8:28).

Jehovah-shalom is one of the covenant names by which God has bound Himself to you. Receive Ezekiel 37:26. "I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant." Ephesians 2:14 says, "For he himself is our peace." You have all the blessings of shalom in Jesus in covenant with Him. He lives in you to keep His covenant of total peace, all the peace you need for security, welfare, and well-being, not just the absence of strife or struggle or fear. Shalom is wholeness, safety, joy, health, and soundness of your spirit, soul, and body.

Stand in God's provision of positive good condition, success, and comfort. You have the benefits of His covenant of peace in harmony with yourself, with God, and with others. Be blessed with full assurance God has everything under His control.

Jesus in you, your Prince of peace, means that you are settled and at rest in an unconcerned state of blessedness in Him. He is the government of peace in your life. He alone is your true shalom, your complete and total fulfillment. Be blessed that the Person of peace, your hope of glory, lives in you and cannot leave you.

When someone asks you, "How are you doing?" Answer honestly, "It is well," regardless of your circumstances, because it is so. Be blessed with God's unshakable peace from the inside out, as your heart knows His fullness.

Be blessed with God's design and purpose for you in Christ, in total oneness with Him in every way. Be blessed to know the healing power of His presence and His restoration of every broken place. His mighty power is giving you victory over every enemy through His light that shines out of your broken earthen vessel.

Be blessed to be whole in spirit, soul, and body in harmony with God's peace and His purpose for your life. He brings you the greatest and deepest measure of satisfaction, fulfillment, and completeness that you can possibly know.

Be blessed in the name of Jehovah-Shalom (Jdg 6:24).
