This Christian apologetics written by C. S. Lewis and first published in 1942. Lewis composed a book of letters from Screwtape, a bureaucrat of hell, to Wormwood, an inexperienced demon who is trying to undermine the faith of a new Christian.
Screwtape gives Wormwood advice on methods to diminish the Christian’s Spiritual growth, and promote sin. Screwtape uses the weakness of human nature well. It is an enlightening yet sober look into spiritual warfare from the perspective of Satan.
The Screwtape Letters is one of C. S. Lewis’ best works and a must read for all Christians seeking to understand the subtle methods Satan uses to destroy our Christian walk.
