dirtpath2This is the second part of three talks by NT Wright at Harvard University in November, 2008 on the topic of hope. This talk focuses on the dilemma of what good can there be in a world that seems to crush and defy any rational basis for hope.

Wright provides powerful reasons for understanding that apart from God there is no hope, but that with God there is great hope. Throughout the three talks Wright returns to his theme of the Kingdom of God is not some distant possibility but is part of what Christians are called to seek, through their life in Christ and their prayerful connection with the Holy Spirit. He discusses the nature of so called good people who are not Christians, and recounts powerful examples of the nature of God’s kingdom come here on earth through the likes of Desmond Tutu and others.
