So if you're serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ - that's where the action is. See things from his perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life - even though invisible to spectators - is with Christ in God. He is your life. Colossians 3:1-3

Is it any wonder I am far removed from God, since I spend such piddling amounts of time and effort practicing His presence? The product I desire is a life so drenched in His presence that those around me become soaked with Him, too. The process is a simple exchange: daily taking my visible attitudes and actions and offering them up to the Father, trusting the great redeemer will make His life visible in my day.
If I am honest I accept that I need every hour of every day under His Spirit’s direction, so he can remove the death of my old life and establish the invisible life of Christ.
