Being a cantankerous World War II veteran who still mowed his lawn, Alvin decided to outfit a makeshift trailer, and drive his lawnmower the 300-plus miles across state lines. Alvin went to great effort in overcoming the many challenges during his unorthodox trip to reach s brother, but he eventually reached his destination.
