We associate money, sex, power, knowledge and even holiness, or goodness, as idols, but we don't often associate the desire for a spouse--the love of our life--as an idol. Do I encourage others--give them courage to be who Christ is calling them to be, who the Spirit of Christ is directing them, or do I promote complacency, and trample on God's Spirit?

If we don’t have the mind of Christ we have the mind of the world, and in the world there are many opportunities to make bad choices.
