This is a call of repentance--to turn from worshipping ourselves and our lives to worshipping the only one who is worthy of worship. In 2006 Francis Chan struggled with whether he was committed to serving Christ as Lord of his life. Chan left his church for a short period to have a come to Jesus time.





The Bible offers a model of leadership based on service, viewing ourselves as servants of Jesus Christ and stewards of what we have been given. Through unconditional relationships with God and our brothers in Christ, we learn how to love and minister effectively, and how to wisely utilize our gifts. This talk was given during a leadership training session at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City.
The film Beyond the Next Mountain tells the true story of how a remote tribe (Hmar) in northeastern India became Christians, and how one of their tribe went onto translate the Bible into their language.
