This hour long documentary is about visionary women of Liberia who demanded peace in their nation torn apart by political and religious civil wars. It includes archival news clips and images along with interviews from the Christian and Muslim women involved.
Rival warlords, using child soldiers armed with Kalashnikovs and zonked out on drugs, raped and pillaged the populace. A quarter of a million people were killed; another million were displaced.
