Whether flashy or humdrum, evil has the propensity to discourage us, to deter us from following the direction of Christ's Spirit. Steadfastness is only possible if we keep our mind rooted and grounded in His truth, and persevere with the strength of his love and the encouragement of his presence.
Legend of the Guardian provides wonderful examples of the what can happen when we don't believe the lie of evil.

Spiritual warfare is something that few Christians, regardless of their denomination, are accustomed to thinking about, let alone engaging in.
