Cooleys Camera 147Repentance is an essential part of the Christian walk, and is a daily activity to maintain our relationship with God. This is part two of three parts that look at how the scriptures portray various aspects of repentance. These scriptures focus on how God responds when we ignore his pleas for repentance.

Psalm 7:12 If one does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and strung his bow;

Revelation 9:20 The rest of humankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands or give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk.

Revelation 9:21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their fornication or their thefts.

Revelation 16:9 they were scorched by the fierce heat, but they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues, and they did not repent and give him glory.

Revelation 16:11 and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and sores, and they did not repent of their deeds.

Revelation 2:16 Repent then. If not, I will come to you soon and make war against them with the sword of my mouth.

Revelation 2:21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her fornication.

Revelation 2:22 Beware, I am throwing her on a bed, and those who commit adultery with her I am throwing into great distress, unless they repent of her doings;

Revelation 3:3 Remember then what you received and heard; obey it, and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.
