river2Are you thirsty? What are you thirsty for?

How are we as Christians supposed to respond to those who are spiritually thirsty?

What is our role?  In this section we can see where God use Christ, and Christ in us, to minister to the spiritual thirst of the world.

Job 5:5 His harvest the hungry eat, and he takes it even out of thorns; and the thirsty pant after his wealth.

Psalm 107:9 For he satisfies him who is thirsty, and the hungry he fills with good things.

Proverbs 25:21 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

Jeremiah 17:8 He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."

Isaiah 21:14 To the thirsty bring water, meet the fugitive with bread, O inhabitants of the land of Tema.

Isaiah 35:7 the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; the haunt of jackals shall become a swamp, the grass shall become reeds and rushes.

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring.

Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Matthew 25:35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink?

Romans 12:20 No, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."

Revelation 21:6 And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the fountain of the water of life without payment.

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let him who hears say, "Come." And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price.
