Psalm 36;

 Exodus 20:22-21:27; Matthew 23:33-39

So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh, and said to him, "Thus says the Lord, 'Let my people go, so that they may worship me.'" Exodus 10:3

God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5

Gracious God, give us the courage and the strength today to stand up to the powers of evil in our lives. These can walk all over the powerless and sometimes close their ears and eyes to cries for help. Pour your power into us to act. Amen.
