This is a recent Hubble picture of a star being born.  The star is the bright thing between the 2 blue lobes.

The blue lobes are gas being ejected by the star (a very massive star) as it turns rapidly.  The whole thing is 2 light years across to give perspective.

And we have the prophetic word made more sure. You will do well to pay attention to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 2 Peter 1
