This is part two of a series on what prayer is, why we should pray, and how prayer affects others.
Life-giving. Cleansing. As a stream, powerful enough to remove obstacles. God describes his essentialness in our lives as an unending, life-giving stream. We are seen by God as a well of living water (Song of Solomon), from God, the fountain of living waters (Jeremiah), with Christ as our shepherd, leading us to springs of living water (Revelation), who enables us to have rivers of living water flow from us (John). Cup of water—filling with the living water daily—through prayer.
